It's only offensive to someone who is trying to escape their Blackness like Naomi Campbell is. All of her latest moves says so. Chocolate is beloved worldwide. Chocolate was used as money. Chocolate is was thought to be an aphrodisiac. Chocolate has the health benefit of being loaded with cancer fighting antioxidants. There are many more positive things that one could say about chocolate. This is why Ms. Campbell's issue about being compared to chocolate is quite transparent. She was just reminded that she is Black and no matter how deep her assimilation goes she can't escape her physical blackness...
