Have you ever had a really strong connection with a band (for me it's Tokio Hotel)?

I have a really strong connection with My Chemical Romance. Their message just gets to me, and reminds me it's okay to be not okay, and it's okay to be myself, and not to take anybody's crap. I used to self harm frequently, but they're music made me realize that I shouldn't do that to myself. I watched a bunch of interviews when I first found out about them, and they said that all their fans should love themselves because they love us. It's just a strong connection, and I love them as if we're close friends. When I'm feeling depressed, all I have to do is listen to their music and I'll eventually feel better. I love the closeness that I can get with a band that I can't get with people.
